On March 4, 2001, FOX aired the pilot episode of an X-Files spin-off series called "The Lone Gunman" (The title is taken from the name of a team of investigative reporters' government watchdog newspaper).
The program depicts a staged hijacking of a passenger aircraft by a hostile faction in the U.S Government, who take control of the plane by remote control and attempt to fly it into one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center.

Alex Jones was joined in studio yesterday by actor, comedian and former star of The X-Files and The Lone Gunmen, Dean Haglund.
Haglund was very forthright with his comments on topics such as martial law in America and new developments in the September 11th cover-up.

Haglund commented that he first became aware of Alex and the larger movement against the New World Order when he was working on the X-files and the Lone Gunmen due to the fact that the writers would often listen to shows like Alex's to get inspiration for the plot lines and characters.
He believed, like many others, that the spin off The Lone Gunmen was actually a better show than the X-files because it was moving away from "the ghosts and the poo monsters" and more towards the government conspiracy theme. The TV Show certainly had an impact on someone because it was axed after one season despite the fact that ratings were high and the plot lines were cutting edge. Someone wanted it gone, particularly in the wake of 9/11.
Haglund went on to describe the pilot episode of the Gunmen in which the three character basically had to stop a plane from flying into the World Trade Centre. This was aired eight months before the event actually happened. Haglund's character manages to gain control of the aircraft seconds before it hits and averts disaster.
"Part of the plot, as it said in the script was that this event would be used to start an international war on terror." he commented.
A small faction within the government wanted to carry this out in order to create a new enemy and prevent the arms trade going flat after the end of the Cold War. The cover to make everyone stand down in the episode and allow the attack to succeed was the wargames scenario that also actually happened on 9/11.

The show was used to subconsciously manipulate people to believe that if these events did actually happen, it would be like a film, not a part of reality, therefore we should not worry too much. Anyone who would dare to say that the Government were responsible for such terrorist attacks would immediately be branded a "lunatic conspiracy theorist, like those guys from the X-Files."
Dean Haglund confirmed that government officials would regularly attend Hollywood parties and submit ideas to be planted in film and TV scripts. We have also previously covered the reports that the Pentagon will lavish certain projects with money and equipment should they portray them in a good light. On the other hand they will not help any project that is in any way antiwar.
It is common knowledge in Hollywood that if you want access to military bases and military technology and hardware, as a movie producer you have to bend over backwards to the Pentagon and allow them majority control in scriptwriting.
Pentagon support translates into millions of dollars shaved off the film budget. In many cases, the absence of that support means the film doesn't get made. This means that movie producers are at the mercy of backroom DoD directors who can effectively re-write historical events and broadcast them to millions as accurate depictions of the real thing.
Portraying war or the military in a bad light in any scene merits an immediate blacklisting from the Pentagon. If the film isn't an out and out recruiting campaign then they're not interested.
"These movies cost twenty, sixty million dollars to make, that money doesn't come from some guy down the street out of his check book, these come from huge venture capitalists that have huge corporate interests." Haglund commented.
In the coming months we are to be bombarded with films about 9/11 and Iraq that will tow the party line.

UPDATE FROM ALEX JONES AND GOV. JESSE VENTURA ON SECRETIVE “POLICE STATE” CANCELLATION
UPDATED FRI, DEC. 3 11:25 AM CST — This is an update on the now-confirmed bizarre cancellation of the “Police State” FEMA camp episode from TruTV’s schedule, which is we now know is due to background pressure.
Alex Jones, a consultant to the show who appears in “Police State”, noticed three weeks ago that the episode was scheduled to air before the then-newest episode on Fridays at 10 PM EST / 9 PM CST. Alex knew that encore episodes were consistently replayed over-and-over prior to brand new Friday premiere episodes, so red flags went up when it did not re-air like all the others. Now that more inconsistencies have been documented, Alex made some phone calls to get to the bottom of the matter.
This morning, Alex spoke with Gov. Jesse Ventura and discovered that he was fully aware of the fact that “Police State” had been pulled due to pressure from within the government. The former Minnesota governor and star of the show indicated that he’s not ready to make a full statement yet as he’s still investigating the details and talking with network execs. However, Ventura urged that people have a right as citizens to contact TruTV and let them know that they want to see it back on air.

Whatever the full cause of the behind-the-scenes pressure, it is clear that the government does not want audiences discussing FEMA camps and Fusion Centers or looking up H.R. 645, the bill named and read in the episode that authorizes FEMA emergency centers. Alex has done all he can to make sure the TruTV series is packed with hard-hitting facts and full of real, substantial issues. Though the show employs the dramatic techniques used throughout TV land, this is not the typical fluff. People had better understand that these are truly groundbreaking shows that are discussing damning evidence that the establishment doesn’t want sinking into the minds of a mainstream audience. Who knows if tonight’s water episode investigating lithium, uranium and fluoride being added to drinking water as a means of population control will itself even air or be replayed after the fact.
Lovers of liberty and supporters of Conspiracy Theory had better cue their DVRs and other recorders and save the episode for good, because with the censorship we’ve already seen, it is difficult to know how long this program will remain on air, or which episodes will be allowed to repeat.

Alex Jones, a consultant to TruTV’s Conspiracy Theory, can confirm that the controversial episode “Police State,” which dealt with FEMA camps and fusion centers, has been pulled from air and essentially “memory-holed” due to behind the scenes pressure.
In short, the series of inconsistencies with the re-airing and promotion for “Police State” posted by We Are Change and Federal Jack (below) is all true, and more. The episode was de-listed from TruTV’s website, bonus clips associated with the episode were removed from the website, its encore airings were canceled and it was not played during the recent Conspiracy Theory marathon. Alex cannot elaborate further without compromising his sources, but you have heard people associated with the show discussing on the radio how certain unnamed powerful people did not want this revealing episode to air, how shadowy figures have been caught rummaging through the trash of producers for the show, and beyond.
The producers and talent for Conspiracy Theory, including former Governor Jesse Ventura, have shown a lot of courage in making their series as hard hitting as possible. With certain powers-that-be unhappy with such a substantial program airing on cable TV, supporters should treasure what they have been able to get out thus far. The very future of the series could be in question, though certainly things are still up in the air at this point. If you appreciate the content that has been on Conspiracy Theory thus far, you should do everything you can to tell your friends and associates to tune in, and make sure these dynamic episodes are seen as widely as possible.
The “Great Lakes” episode, now known as the “Worldwide Water Conspiracy” airing tomorrow, Fri, Dec. 3 at 10 PM EST / 9 PM CST also was nearly not aired, but made the second season schedule in the end. Producers have told the Alex Jones Show that it has expanded in scope and now deals with a number of hardcore issues including uranium, lithium, fluoride and more being added to public water supplies. The Police State episode was deleted from truTv’s website (episode list and video section), around the same time (Nov. 25) the “Great Lakes” episode was finally listed to air on December 3, 2010.
I said “finally” because the upcoming episode “Great Lakes” has been scheduled and re-scheduled Many times in the past and is explained more clearly in this forum thread:

The reason why the “Like Page” did not censor the “Police State” episode is because I Administer the page.
Remember to be polite in contact with truTV and be sure to thank them for airing the show in the first place.
My strong recommendation would be to Contact truTV, ask why the “Police State” episode info and videos were from their website. Ask them why they chose not to re-air it, as was scheduled to be and was done with every other episode, and if there is a possibility that it will be.

This issue is concerning to me because i feel the “Police State” episode was the most powerful and important episode to date in my opinion. A couple reasons being video confirmation and expose of FEMA Camps / Coffins, at the same time Introducing “We Are Change” and “Alex Jones” to the public, as both are heavily featured in the episode.
I would also ask them to buy Jesse an RV to travel in for the Third Season or help set up a website so fans of the show can contact jesse about different modes of transportation such as private planes and and / or help fundraise to secure his transportation for the next season if the TSA abuses continue.
JESSE VENTURA ABUSED BY TSA WILL NO LONGER FLY.
The executive producer of the show included Tyrel and Jesse in saying they were all trying their hardest to keep the show on the air, and it is obvious there is a mounted resistance to this notion. We can not let these obstacles end Jesse’s career, and I know that very many people would love to see a third season.

Your thumb appears to have moved, even though you didn't move it with your arm. Three-D technology capitalizes on this effect, taking advantage of the brain's ability to fuse two images into one. Those glasses that you have to wear when watching something in 3-D are basically helping your brain interpret two flat images as one object that has depth.
With the success of "Avatar," a cluster of 3-D movies, including "Alice in Wonderland" and "How to Train Your Dragon", are making their mark in Hollywood. Martin Scorsese recently announced plans to direct a 3-D film later this year. Nintendo also announced plans for a 3-D gaming console, the 3DS. Many electronics companies have 3-D television models, bringing the opportunity for this enhanced viewing into the home as networks begin to air more 3-D programming. Comcast's 3-D channel aired the Masters Golf Tournament earlier this month, and ESPN plans to launch a 3-D sports network this year.
But doctors say that for eyes unaccustomed to watching 3-D for hours every day, there are some dangers, including mild symptoms such as disorientation and, in rare cases, seizures.
The Samsung 3D LED TV comes with a substantial health warning. It cautions that certain flashing images or lights could induce epileptic seizure or stroke, and that "motion sickness, perceptual aftereffects, disorientation, eye strain and decreased postural stability" may result...

Samsung’s AUSTRALIAN 3D TV site & the English version of the manual (one page 19) does make an attempt to inform consumers about the possible medical contraindications regarding viewing media in 3D mode on their displays, having two “fine-print” links at the top and bottom of the home page that bring you to the following information:

Parents’ careful supervision is required particularly when children or teenagers view 3D images.
Photosensitive Seizure Warning and Other Health Risks
–– Some viewers may experience an epileptic seizure or stroke when exposed to certain flashing images or lights contained in certain television pictures or video games. If you or any of your relatives has a history of epilepsy or strokes, please consult with a medical specialist before using the 3D function.
–– Do not watch 3D pictures when you feel incoherent, sleepy, tired or sick. Avoid watching 3D pictures for long hours.
–– Even those without a personal or family history of epilepsy or stroke may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause “photosensitive epileptic seizures.”

Watch a clip from a controversial 'gameshow' in which participants are asked to administer what they believe to be near-lethal electric shocks to rival contestants.
The aim of the experiment is to show how the manipulative power of television can push people to ever more outrageous limits.
A team of psychologists recruited 80 volunteers, telling them they were taking part in a pilot for a new television show.
They were instructed to pose questions to another "player", and punish him with up to 460 volts of electricity when he got answers wrong.
Not knowing that the screaming victim was really an actor, the apparently reluctant contestants yielded to the orders of the presenter and audience, who also believed the game was real.
The programme airs as a documentary on France 2 TV on Wednesday.
