Government-supported effort to ‘encourage critical thinking’ actually encourages obedient regurgitation of lies

“We don’t need no education….we don’t need no thought control.”
In a week where the establishment is desperate to reinforce the official 9/11 fable, a government-supported charity group has embarked on a mission to include the state-approved version of events on the school curriculum in the UK as part of a bid to “demolish conspiracy theories” surrounding the attacks.
As we reported yesterday, the launch of the project was timed to coincide with the unveiling of a macabre 9/11 “memorial” in Battersea Park, London, after which Mayor Boris Johnson resolved to carry out a “controlled demolition” of conspiracy theories to “remind people of the tragedy of what really happened”.
A website for the “9/11 London project” has been launched which includes downloadable lesson plans for teachers. The program is designed “to teach schoolchildren in Britain about the events of 9/11 and “demolish conspiracy theories” surrounding the attacks,” reports AFP.
The project is supported by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, as well as establishment figures in Britain such as Common Purpose member Maqsood Ahmed, Lord West, Lord Carey, and Lord Fink, CEO of International Standard Asset Management (ISAM) and Treasurer of the Conservative Party.
“A lot of the children… didn’t know much about the event, some had only heard a lot about the conspiracy theories, so it’s great to have another insight,” 26-year-old history teacher Nat Ogborn told AFP.
In explaining the need for such an educational program, the website for the project states the goal is to develop the critical thinking of students who are “confused about the actual events of the day.”
However, in announcing its purpose is to “demolish conspiracy theories,” ie any evidence that contradicts the state-approved version of events, the program has already ‘demolished’ any notion that it will encourage critical thinking. It will only pursue the exact opposite.
This is brainwashing 101. It’s about indoctrinating children with the pseudo-science that giant steel-framed buildings like WTC 7 collapse into their own footprint at near free fall speed from fire damage alone. Any real educational inquiry into the events of 9/11 would uncover clear evidence of controlled demolition, and would provide as a resource the thousands of architects and engineers who are on record asserting that the official story is impossible, not to mention six of the 9/11 commissioners themselves, along with thousands of other credible individuals, who have all rejected the official story.
It’s not the first time the state has relied on using the power of the curriculum to brainwash British schoolchildren into accepting the official narrative about a subject.
A controversy ensued in 2007 after the government sent Al Gore’s global warming polemic An Inconvenient Truth to schools in England, Wales and Scotland, advising that teachers make the documentary part of the curriculum.
A parents group later brought the case the court, complaining that the government’s circulation of the film amounted to “political indoctrination” and was in breach of the Education Act 2002.
Assessing whether it should be shown to school children, a British High Court judge later ruled that the documentary contained nine significant errors, that claims in the film were made in “the context of alarmism and exaggeration,” and that the documentary was of a political and not scientific nature, therefore should not be used in school curriculums without the material also including opposing arguments.
Along similar lines, a University Professor in the United Kingdom recently conducted a comparative analysis of a BBC documentary on 7/7 “conspiracy theories” and an independent documentary in which the official story behind the London bombings is questioned. The Professor concluded that the documentary produced by “conspiracy theorists” was more accurate and more likely to be a truthful representation of the events of 7/7.
You can be certain that the evidence contained in the video below will not be part of the 9/11 school curriculum, primarily because it actually encourages critical thinking, unlike the “911 London Project,” which only encourages children to blithely regurgitate what they are told by the authorities.

US president will use visit to London to announce new co-operation to tack
UK Guardian
Barack Obama will announce during his first state visit to Britain this week that the White House is to open up its highly secretive national security council to Downing Street in a move that appears to show the US still values the transatlantic "special relationship".
A joint National Security Strategy Board will be established to ensure that senior officials on both sides of the Atlantic confront long-term challenges rather than just hold emergency talks from the "situation room" in the White House and the Cobra room in the Cabinet Office...[Full Article]

- Anarchists threaten to 'unleash hell' during march in capital

- Protesters start lunchtime sit-in along Shaftesbury Avenue
- Hooded anarchists throw paint and set off flares on Oxford Street
Hundreds of thousands of protesters have descended on London today in a mass protest being staged against Government cuts in public spending.
The TUC had estimated that around 100,000 union activists and other campaigners would take part in today's demonstration.
But by lunchtime unofficial figures put the numbers at 400,000, as protesters were still joining the march more than an hour after it started.
The TUC said the number of people in the march to London's Hyde Park had well exceeded their expectations
Protesters cross Waterloo Bridge to join the protest against cuts, in the biggest demonstration to hit London since the Iraq war march
There were fears that protests separate from the main group marching to Hyde Park would cause violence and anarchy, as there were sit-in protests along Shaftesbury Avenue and various groups demonstrating away from the planned route.

A senior economist at the worldwide bank HSBC has warned of civil unrest in Britain if food prices continue to soar.
Speaking on Jeff Randall Live, senior global economist Karen Ward cautioned that the UK could experience the kind of food riots seen in other countries.
"Even in the developed world I think we have very, very low wage growth, so people aren't getting more in their pay packet to compensate them for food and energy, and I think we could see social unrest certainly in parts of the developed world and the UK as well."
She went on to highlight the link between high food prices and the escalating cost of crude oil...[Full Article]

(NewsCore) - A British high school has installed a £9,000 ($14,238) face recognition camera to discourage students from turning up late to classes -- and plans to use the system to track teachers.
Sir Christopher Hatton School in Northamptonshire. Central England, is one of the first in the country to install the monitors, which will be used to track more than 200 senior year students.
It uses two cameras to produce a 4D scan and identifies faces by measuring eyes, nose and face shape -- and can distinguish between identical twins. It records pupils¿ attendance and enables the school to have those arriving late make up the time at the end of the day...

Schoolchildren were left crying and suffering panic attacks after a school role play which saw one of their teachers apparently shot dead in the playground.
The pupils, aged ten to 13, watched aghast as their religious education teacher ran across a field without warning and fell to the ground following a loud bang.
Some were so traumatised that they were sick afterwards, parents said.
The stunt was part of a science lesson designed to teach children how evidence is brought together in criminal investigations. They were not told it was fake until ten minutes after the event...Labels: Britain, education, UK, United Kingdom

Police Recruit Internet Cafe Owners To Spy On Users
Owners to snoop on visits to “extremist websites” as part of growing Nazi-fication of UK
As part of the lurching advance towards the kind of society that we thought had been consigned to the darkest days of the 20th century, the Nazi-fication of Britain continues with the news that the police are working with Internet cafe owners to spy on users who visit “extremist websites”.
“The intitative is part of the Prevent strand of the government’s counter-terrorism strategy, which aims to stop radicalisation by winning the “battle of ideas”. Café owners are asked to use their own judgement as to what amounts to extremist material,” reports the Register.
Of course, since British police are also training the public that using cash, closing your curtains or enjoying your privacy is a potential hallmark of terrorism, the definition of “extremist material” will undoubtedly include anti-establishment political websites like the one you are reading right now...

Police forces all over the UK will soon be able to draw on unmanned aircraft from a national fleet, according to Home Office plans. Last month it was revealed that modified military aircraft drones will carry out surveillance on everyone from protesters and antisocial motorists to fly-tippers, and will be in place in time for the 2012 Olympics.
Surveillance is only the start, however. Military drones quickly moved from reconnaissance to strike, and if the British police follow suit, their drones could be armed -- but with non-lethal weapons rather than Hellfire missiles...
