More than 25 leaders from the Awaliq tribe, the tribe of Anwar Awlaqi, reached Jawf on Sunday to see the remains of the body of Anwar, however, no body resembling his was found.
Amongst those who went to the province was his father, a former minister and university dean.
Tribal leaders in Jawf told the family that Awlaqi was not killed in the attack.
Tribes in the province say there is no proof that Awlaqi was amongst the killed and DNA tests on the remains of the five killed can prove that.
An al-Qaeda senior leader also denied the claims that Awlaqi was killed and said that he will soon come out with a statement to prove that.
The Awaliq tribe has not officially announced the death of their fellow tribesman, Anwar.
Yemen and US announced that Awalqi was the prime target in the US drone attack last Friday.

With the recent death of Usama bin Laden, the life of another Al Qaeda-linked radical Muslim cleric is taking on greater significance, and documents obtained exclusively by Fox News and its Specials Unit shed new light on his stint as a guest speaker at the Pentagon just months after the Sept. 11 terror attacks.American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, the first American on the CIA’s kill or capture list, is still considered a grave threat to U.S. national security. He now is hiding out in Yemen, where earlier this month a U.S. missile attack tried to kill him and his followers.
The scene was much different on February 5, 2002, when the radical imam was invited to and attended the Pentagon event.
Fox News obtained new documents through a Freedom of Information Act request as part of a year-long investigation called "Fox News Reporting: Secrets of 9/11." An internal Department of Defense email that announced the event with Awlaki also laid out other details, like a proposed menu including pork, which is prohibited for Muslims. The email states "the chef will create something special for vegetarians."
Tune in Friday to "Fox News Reporting: Secrets of 9/11," debuting at 10 p.m. ET.
The documents show that more than 70 people were copied on the invitation, which originated in the Defense Department’s Office of the General Counsel. It is home to the Pentagon's top lawyer.
"I have reserved one of the executive dining rooms for February 5th, which is the date he (Awlaki) preferred," a defense department lawyer wrote in the e-mail announcing the event.
"He (Awlaki) will be leaving for an extensive period of time on February 11th."
The e-mail states that New Mexico born al-Awlaki was the featured guest speaker on “Islam and Middle Eastern Politics and Culture."
The Defense Department lawyer who vetted the imam wrote that she "had the privilege of hearing one of Mr. Awlaki's presentations in November and was impressed by both the extent of his knowledge and by how he communicated that information and handled a hostile element in the audience."
Fox News reached out to the Office of General Counsel for comment on the event in 2002 and the vetting process, but the Defense Department said it did not have additional information to provide.
In October 2010, Fox News and its Specials Unit broke the al-Awlaki lunch story when its investigative team obtained documents, including an FBI interview conducted after the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009, that stated Awlaki was taken to the Pentagon as part of the military's outreach to the moderate Muslim community in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.
Click here to read the report.
Al-Awlaki, a dual U.S. and Yemeni national, was interviewed at least four times by the FBI in the first eight days after the Sept. 11 attacks because of his ties to the three hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Hani Hanjour. They were three of the five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77, which was flown into the Pentagon. Apparently, none of the FBI's information about Awlaki, his ties to the hijackers or his history of soliciting prostitutes was shared with the Pentagon.
In October 2010 an Army spokesman insisted that it was not an Army event.
"The Army has found no evidence that the Army either sponsored or participated in the event described in this report," spokesman Thomas Collins said.
Collins also noted that the FBI document, dated November 2009, referred to the "Office of Government Counsel" but should read "Office of General Counsel."
Collins said he believed the event was sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This is consistent with the new documents obtained by Fox because the General Counsel's office falls under OSD.
A former high-ranking FBI agent told Fox News that at the time Awlaki went to lunch at the Pentagon, there was tremendous "arrogance" about the vetting process at the Pentagon.
"They vetted people politically and showed indifference toward security and intelligence advice of others," the former agent said.
National Correspondent Catherine Herridge's first book "The Next Wave: On the Hunt for al Qaeda's American Recruits" will be published by Crown on June 21st. It draws on her reporting for Fox News into al-Awlaki, his new generation of recruits, and it explores why information about the cleric was withheld from government investigators.

Leading neocon in Congress, Sen. Joe Lieberman, responded to questions and indicated that he would investigate why al Qaeda’s now #1 operative, Anwar al-Awlaki, was invited to an official Department of Defense meeting in the wake of the September 11 attacks.
The questions were raised by Luke Rudkowski, We Are Change.org founder and contributor for RT’s Adam vs. The Man, who confronted the senator, citing reports in both Fox News and CBS News.
Lieberman initially dismissed the questions, saying he’d be ‘surprised’ by such reports, but later stated that he “will look into that.” However, Sen. Lieberman suggested that the Pentagon likely did not know who he was ‘at the time.’ This notion is debunked, however, as the FBI repeatedly flagged Awlaki for links to at least three hijackers in the first week after 9/11.
“Well, I’m going to have some questions about that,” Lieberman said, extending his impromptu remarks. “He’s a target of interest. We know that he’s been involved in a series of attacks on our homeland. Of course, he communicates in English on his website. So he’s a particular danger in terms of radicalizing people here in the U.S. who are going to jihadist websites.”
Awlaki is reportedly connected to the Fort Hood shootings, the attempted Christmas Day underwear bombings, the Times Square dud and many other events. Though Awlaki is now considered a target for drone attacks in Yemen as well as the #1 American on the CIA’s kill or capture list, the American-born terrorist was a welcomed guest at the Pentagon, “rubb[ing] shoulders with high-ranking military personnel just months after the atrocities,” according to the Daily Mail.
The event, supposedly an outreach to the Muslim community, was organized by the Army’s Office of Government Counsel. Reports specify that Awlaki was vetted before attending, again, despite having been interviewed repeatedly by the FBI immediately after 9/11 for his links to at least three hijackers. “A former high-ranking FBI agent” who spoke with Fox News blamed an “arrogant” and politically-motivated vetting process at the DoD.
Though Senator Joe Lieberman is an unlikely advocate for exposing the truth behind 9/11, it is important that he acknowledged these questions on record and agreed to look further into the reasons behind them. It is up to the real activists to pressure Lieberman and other elected officials to really investigate the deadly duplicity behind U.S. anti-terrorism policy.

Yemen-based Anwar al-Awlaki is scheduled to replace the late Osama bin Laden, according to news reports.
As Tea Party darling Michele Bachmann notes above, al-Awlaki is the new face of terror in a war designed to last forever.
“Anwar al-Awlaki, affiliated with a Yemen-based faction of al-Qaida, is being mentioned in national media reports as a potential successor to Osama bin Laden, who was killed last week in Pakistan,” reports a Carlsbad, New Mexico newspaper. The Muslim cleric was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Following the unverified murder of Osama bin Laden, the corporate media has buzzed with speculation on who will replace the Saudi. Ayman al-Zawahiri is not charismatic enough for American audiences, NBC News notes. “We could see Anwar al-Awlaki move in, or Ilyas Kashmiri, a Pakistani militant,” a nameless senior government official told the news organization.
CNN propaganda piece on the threat of al-Awlaki, the new Osama.
Ilyas Kashmiri, said to be the leader of Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami, is in the running because his group is based in Pakistan. As the Osama death story developed, Pakistan was blamed for sheltering the terrorist. Murmurings of war against the Muslim nation are all the rage in Washington and the corporate media.
In Britain, the media has christen al-Awlaki the “new Osama” and claims he is plotting a Mumbai-style massacre in the country. “The options that you have for operations could be pipe bombs, assassinations or using a firearm at a location crowded with enemies,” al-Awlaki supposedly instructed in an email sent to The Sun.
Anwar is said to be behind the the aborted Christmas Day bombing, the Fort Hood shooting, the Times Square bombing attempt. He preached to the alleged September 11 hijackers. He is said to be internet savvy, unlike his predecessor, making him the perfect villain for the 21st century.
He also dined at the Pentagon, according to documents obtained by Fox News. “The Pentagon has offered no explanation of how a man, now on the CIA kills or capture list, ended up at a special lunch for Muslim outreach,” a flummoxed Fox News reported.
“Awlaki was vetted before he was invited to attend a luncheon at the Pentagon in the secretary of the Army’s Office of Government Counsel. His appearance at the meeting was deliberately engineered despite Awlaki’s ties to three of the alleged 9/11 hijackers – Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Hani Hanjour – who were identified as the suicide pilots that slammed Flight 77 into the Pentagon,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote on October 21, 2010.
“Given the fact that Awlaki is a double operative, claiming to be an Al-Qaeda leader yet in fact working for U.S. intelligence, it’s hardly surprising that he made an appearance at the Pentagon.”
It is also hardly surprising that he was selected to replace Osama bin Laden, who died nearly a decade ago. The promotion of Anwar al-Awlaki to master terrorist signals a new chapter in the never-ending war against manufactured enemies of the state. It is no mistake an American born and breed Muslim was selected to replace Osama.

U.S.-born cleric. Al-Awlaki replaces bin Laden as 'most significant risk'
The Montreal Gazette
Almost a decade after the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington, the United States no longer considers Osama bin Laden to be the biggest terror threat to America.
U.S. National Counterterrorism Center Director Michael Leiter, testifying yesterday before the House homeland security committee, told lawmakers continued "offensive pressure" on bin Laden's Pakistani safe havens has substantially reduced Al-Qa'ida's ability to launch a "large-scale attack" on America.
The greater danger, Leiter said, now comes from American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and his Al-Qa'ida ties in the Arabian Peninsula. Not only has al-Awlaki demonstrated some capability to strike at the U.S. from outside the country, he also has emerged as the primary influence over homegrown terrorists plotting to strike within the United States, he said.
"I actually consider Al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula, with al-Awlaki as a leader within that organization, probably the most significant risk to the U.S. homeland," Leiter said...

Slickest Al Qaeda Magazine Yet From Young American Editor
New Fatwa from Awlaki, Blueprint for Destroying Buildings
The latest edition of al Qaeda's English-language web magazine offers readers a new fatwa from American-born jihadi leader Anwar al-Awlaki, instructions on how to destroy buildings using gas lines, and a primer on the AK-47 rifle, in what is "Inspire"'s slickest production to date.
The fourth issue of "Inspire" a publication of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), the terror organization's Yemeni branch, follows three previous installments in the past year that gave instructions on the killing American civilians, and boasted about the failed "printer bomb" cargo plane plot that originated in Yemen. A young American citizen from North Carolina named Samir Khan apparently began editing and publishing the on-line magazine after relocating to Yemen.
In this edition, Yemeni-American radical cleric Awlaki issues a religious justification for taking money and property from Americans and citizens of other Western nations. Awlaki is at the top of the U.S. government's "kill list" because of his operational involvement in AQAP...

EXCLUSIVE: Al Qaeda Leader Dined at the Pentagon Just Months After 9/11
By Catherine HerridgePublished October 20, 2010| FoxNews.com

Anwar Al-Awlaki may be the first American on the CIA's kill or capture list, but he was also a lunch guest of military brass at the Pentagon within months of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, Fox News has learned.
Documents exclusively obtained by Fox News, including an FBI interview conducted after the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009, state that Awlaki was taken to the Pentagon as part of the military’s outreach to the Muslim community in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.
The incident was flagged by a current Defense Department employee who came forward and told investigators she helped arrange the meeting after she saw Awlaki speak in Alexandria, Va.
The employee "attended this talk and while she arrived late she recalls being impressed by this imam. He condemned Al Qaeda and the terrorist attacks. During his talk he was 'harassed' by members of the audience and suffered it well," reads one document.
According to the documents, obtained as part of an ongoing investigation by the specials unit "Fox News Reporting," there was a push within the Defense Department to reach out to the Muslim community.
"At that period in time, the secretary of the Army (redacted) was eager to have a presentation from a moderate Muslim."
In addition, Awlaki "was considered to be an 'up and coming' member of the Islamic community. After her vetting, Aulaqi (Awlaki) was invited to and attended a luncheon at the Pentagon in the secretary of the Army's Office of Government Counsel."
Awlaki, a Yemeni-American who was born in Las Cruces, N.M., was interviewed at least four times by the FBI in the first week after the attacks because of his ties to the three hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Hani Hanjour. The three hijackers were all onboard Flight 77 that slammed into the Pentagon.
Awlaki is now believed to be hiding in Yemen after he was linked to the alleged Ft. Hood shooter Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who e-mailed Awlaki prior to the attack.
Sources told Fox News that Awlaki, who is a former Muslim chaplain at George Washington University, met with the Christmas Day bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab in Yemen and was the middle-man between the young Nigerian and the bombmaker. Awlaki was also said to inspire would-be Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad.
Apparently, none of the FBI's information about Awlaki was shared with the Pentagon. Former Army Secretary Tommy White, who led the Army in 2001, said he doesn't have any recollection of the luncheon or any contact with Awlaki.
"If this was a luncheon at the Office of Government Counsel, I would not necessarily be there," he said.
The Pentagon has offered no explanation of how a man, now on the CIA kills or capture list, ended up at a special lunch for Muslim outreach.
After repeated requests for comment on the vetting process beginning on October 13th, an Army spokesman insisted Wednesday that the lunch was not an Army event. "The Army has found no evidence that the Army either sponsored or participated in the event described in this report," spokesman Thomas Collins said.
Collins also noted that the FBI document referred to the “Office of Government Counsel” but should read “Office of General Counsel.”
Collins said he believed the event was sponsored by the office of the Secretary of Defense. A spokeswoman there said she would look into it and get back to Fox News.
A former high-ranking FBI agent told Fox News that at the time Awlaki went to lunch at the Pentagon, there was tremendous "arrogance" about the vetting process at the Pentagon.
"They vetted people politically and showed indifference toward security and intelligence advice of others," the former agent said.

Anwar al-Awlaki may be dead, but that won’t stop him bombing planes and carrying out mass shootings
Steve Watson & Paul Watson
Prisonplanet.com
Friday, Nov 5th, 2010
Anwar al-Awlaki, the Al-Qaeda leader who supposedly masterminded last month’s plane bomb plot is the latest terrorist boogie man to have risen from the grave to exact his revenge.
As reported by the London Guardian, Awlaki is considered the “prime suspect” in the cargo plane bomb plot. He was also fingered as the mastermind by BBC News, and the London Telegraph amongst others.
The man who allegedly made the ink toner cartridges that were later claimed to be deadly explosive devices, halted just minutes before reaping carnage, was Saudi Arabian-born Ibrahim Hassan Al Asiri. Al Asiri is “in regular contact in Yemen with radical cleric Anwar Awlaki,” reported the Daily Mail.
Within 48 hours, it was announced by the US intelligence backed SITE organisation that Awlaki had appeared in a new video posted on a “jihadist website,” in which he encouraged further attacks.
Like many supposed terrorist leaders before him however, Awlaki has previously been reported killed.
On December 24, 2009 several news outlets reported that Awlaki was believed to have been killed in a joint U.S-Yemeni pre-dawn air strike by Yemeni Air Force fighter jets on a meeting of 30 or so senior al-Qaeda leaders at a hideout in Rafd, a remote mountain valley in eastern Shabwa.
The Reuters news agency spoke to an unnamed Yemeni official at the time who said: “Anwar al Awlaki is suspected to be dead (in the air raid).”
Awlaki’s death was also reported by Fox News and Al Jazeera.
On December 28 The Washington Post reported that U.S. and Yemeni officials had confirmed that al-Awlaki was at the al-Qaeda meeting.
Then on December 29 it was reported by Newsweek that a Yemeni journalist called Abdul Elah Hider al-Shaya had been in contact with Awlaki after the air raid, and was claiming that he was still alive.
The report stated:
There is no independent way to confirm Shaya’s account and U.S. intelligence officials are now ducking the question of whether they believe Awlaki is dead or alive. “His status is not entirely clear,” a U.S. intelligence official says.”
As we have previously reported, every significant Al Qaeda leader appears to have been killed or reported killed several times, indicating that these people are simply names, interchangeable at the whim of the Pentagon, US Intelligence and their corporate media mouthpieces.
The American-born cleric is perhaps the most complex of these characters.
As we reported last month, every indication points to Awlaki being a double agent working for US intelligence. He has been involved in almost every terror plot over the last couple of years, from directing the underwear bomber, who was allowed to board the plane by order of the US State Department aided by a well-dressed man who got Abdulmutallab on the airliner despite the fact that he was on a terror watchlist and had no passport, to advising Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Malik Hasan. Authorities have engaged in a cover-up of what happened at Fort Hood after they ordered Private Lance Aviles to delete cell phone footage of the attack.
Awlaki was also the spiritual leader of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, a fact that didn’t seem to concern Pentagon top brass who invited him to dine with them just months after the September 11 attacks despite the fact that he had personally colluded with the very hijackers who were alleged to have slammed Flight 77 into the Pentagon.
The US Special Operations Command’s Able Danger program identified the hijackers and their accomplices long before 9/11, and would undoubtedly have also picked up Awlaki.
As Webster Tarpley has documented, Awlaki is “an intelligence agency operative and patsy-minder” and “one of the premier terror impresarios of the age operating under Islamic fundamentalist cover” whose job it is to “motivate and encourage groups of mentally impaired and suggestible young dupes who were entrapped into “terrorist plots” by busy FBI and Canadian RCMP agents during recent years.”
Any Awlaki connection to the latest alleged bomb plot is therefore a huge smoking gun that the entire story, as every other piece of evidence also indicates, is a manufactured political ploy.
If indeed he is already dead, so much the better for the Pentagon who can continue to connect Awlaki to anything they see fit without reprisal.

Update on the Phony, Staged "Ink Cartridge Bomb"...
Only after President’s speech did East Midlands security officials reverse earlier announcement that suspicious device was a dud
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
Monday, November 1, 2010
After having examined the suspicious ink toner device for six hours and found it to be a dud, bomb experts at East Midlands Airport only reversed their decision after being ordered to re-inspect the package by US authorities following President Obama’s Friday afternoon speech in which he claimed that the devices did in fact contain explosives.
This telling contradiction in the timeline of the cargo bomb plot fiasco proves that the story was being hyped and manipulated from the very early stages.
Obama was informed of the plot at 10:35PM eastern Thursday night, despite the fact that the East Midlands package was only first discovered roughly at the exact same time – 3:30am on Friday morning UK time. British Prime Minister David Cameron was kept firmly out of the loop – he was not informed until Friday afternoon.
How did Obama and his terror chief John Brennan know that the East Midlands package was an explosive device virtually at the same time bomb experts had only just discovered the device at East Midlands Airport and before they had even had the chance to analyze it?
A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police stated: “Following initial examination explosives officers were satisfied that the package presented no immediate danger.”
Authorities at East Midlands only reversed their earlier assessment after “(US) authorities urged the British to look again, a US official said,” reports the Nottingham Post.
So is it credible that bomb professionals whose expertise and training is focused around detecting explosives, failed to do so after a six hour sweep, only to change their minds after being ordered to look again by the US government?
What did Obama know and when did he know it? The timeline strongly indicates that US terror authorities knew about the East Midlands device before East Midlands bomb experts had even discovered it.
Police and bomb experts at East Midlands have refused to comment on the confusion.
In addition, it has come to light that the man responsible for tipping off Saudi authorities to the imminent plot, who subsequently informed US authorities, was Jabir al-Fayf, suspected by Yemen of being a double agent working for the Saudis.
Al-Fayf had infiltrated the Al-Qaeda group in Yemen who were behind the plot. Going on past evidence of how almost every terror scare was contrived with the aid of federal agents or their Al-Qaeda informants provocateuring the terror group into action, Al-Fayf was probably responsible for grooming the patsies, whose mental incompetence, as again is the case in most instances, prevented them from building sophisticated enough bombs to be successful.
However, despite the fact that authorities not only in the UK but also in the cases of the Newark and Pittsburgh packages, initially gave the “all clear,” according to CNN, Obama, having already been informed of the plot the night before, simply contradicted the very experts who had dismissed the devices as duds, claiming the packages contained explosives. This soon mushroomed into a media scaremongering blitz about powerful explosives that could have knocked dozens of planes out of the sky.
The contrived series of events has been swiftly exploited as a means of intensifying US attacks on Yemen, which was instantly blamed as the source of the alleged attack, despite a female student who was arrested as the prime culprit later being released after it became clear she was the victim of a “set-up,” according to her lawyer.
Two Wall Street Journal articles today make it plain that the Obama administration will use the incident to justify further military incursions into Yemen while beefing the CIA’s power to control secret “elite U.S. hunter-killer teams” that operate in foreign countries.
In a report entitled Package Bombs Help U.S. Defense in Cleric Case, the WSJ discusses how the alleged role of American cleric Anwar al Awlaki in the plot, who as we have documented is a CIA stooge who met with Pentagon officials shortly after 9/11 despite being fingered as the spiritual guru of the very hijackers who slammed Flight 77 into the Pentagon, will aid the US in its plans to launch military operations in Yemen.
In another report entitled Yemen Covert Role Pushed – Foiled Bomb Plot Heightens Talk of Putting Elite U.S. Squads in CIA Hands, Julian E. Barnes and Adam Entous explain how the plot – supposedly masterminded by someone on the CIA payroll – will enable the Obama administration to shift “more operational control to the CIA” in its mission to violate the sovereignty of more nations in the name of the war on terror.

CIA Stooge Awlaki Prime Suspect Behind Plane Bomb PlotEvery scrap of evidence screams “false flag,” as authorities seek to crush resistance against invasive airport security measures, while Obama exploits event for domestic and geopolitical gain

The revelation that CIA stooge Anwar al-Awlaki, the Al-Qaeda leader who once dined with Pentagon top brass, is the supposed mastermind behind last week’s plane bomb plot, adds yet more weight to the already overwhelming evidence that the whole charade is another contrived false flag to both boost Barack Obama’s domestic and geopolitical agenda, while crushing the growing resistance against invasive airport security measures.

In the rush to pin the blame on US geopolitical target Yemen, a Yemeni female student was hastily fingered as the perpetrator, a “set-up” according to her lawyer, and she was quickly released. Indeed, according to Mohammed al-Shaibah, Air Cargo Director for Yemenia Airways, “there is no evidence to prove that this package came through Yemen.” He said there were no UPS or DHL cargo flights from Yemen within a 48 hour period prior to the supposed terror attack.
In addition, the United Arab Emirates’ Civil Aviation Authority rejected claims by US authorities that Flight 201 from Dubai contained any suspicious packages. “The Emirates plane that arrived today in the United States from Dubai did not contain any packages from Yemen,” the official Emirati WAM news agency quoted an unnamed source with the country’s civil aviation body as saying.
Authorities in the UK initially confirmed that the package found on a plane at East Midlands Airport was an ink toner cartridge and contained no evidence of explosives. Similarly, CNN first reported that, “Investigators examined two UPS planes that landed at Philadelphia International Airport and another at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, said Mike Mangeot, a UPS spokesman. Authorities later gave the “all-clear” at the airport in Newark, U.S. and U.K. officials said.” However, within hours President Obama gave a speech claiming the packages did contain evidence of explosives.
Within the space of 24 hours, the story was completely reversed and inflated into a massive terror plot involving dozens of suspect packages supposedly bound for synagogues in Chicago. How could packages that after being tested for explosives were labeled duds suddenly become ‘massive and powerful explosive devices’? This proves that the story was manipulated at an early stage so that it could be feverishly overblown and exploited for political purposes, just as a number of contrived terror alerts were issued for political gain by the Bush administration, as former Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge admitted.
The new plot’s supposed similarities to the Christmas Day attempt further cements this view. As we have documented, every single scrap of evidence regarding the underwear bomber plot has “false flag” written all over it, from the US government allowing Abdulmutallab to board the plane, to Abdulmutallab’s own patsy-like behavior suggesting he wasn’t even fully aware of his role, to FBI intimidation of eyewitnesses on the plane who reported events that contradicted the official story. The Christmas Day incident was hastily exploited to push naked body scanners which have proved to be a financial windfall for the same individuals who are now hyping this new plot as another reason for more expensive and invasive security measures at airports.
The plane bomb plot and how it has been swiftly exploited fulfills at least three political objectives.
1) Occurring less than a handful of days before what has been dubbed one of the most important mid-term elections for decades, the attack will serve to entice undecided voters back under the illusion of big government as protector, potentially saving a few key establishment Democrats their seats in the House and Senate. The fact that Obama completely reversed the initial announcements of security officials to claim that the ink toner cartridges did in fact contain explosives is a key indication that the White House is over hyping the story for political gain.
2) Resistance to stifling and pointless airport security measures has reached fever pitch in recent months, with naked body scanners taking flak from all sides as they are routinely abused. Dozens of countries are refusing to sign a binding agreement proposed by the Department of Homeland Security to mandate the use of the scanners globally. The backlash culminated in British Airways Chairman Martin Broughton attacking US authorities for the continuation of “completely redundant” airport security checks. These security checks are only going to become more invasive as a result of this staged event.
3) Blaming Yemen as the origin of the plot allows the US military-industrial complex to intensify drone attacks on a country that has become one of the prime targets for the next phase of the contrived war on terror. Just a day after the plane bomb charade, the New York Times aggressively pushed for more attacks on the country, citing the presence of CIA stooge Awlaki as a reason for doing so.
We are once again being manipulated and brainwashed into accepting draconian security measures through fear and lies. Only by exposing the fact that this chain of events was yet another false flag attack on the psyche of the American people and people globally can we hope to identify the real terrorists, those in positions of power, who are continually hyping the threat of terror to change our society for the worse.

Toner Bomb Plot Used to Empower CIAKurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
November 1, 2010
In addition to adding new urgency and a fresh dose of hysteria to the flagging war on manufactured terror, the toner bomb plot has provided an excuse to rationalize the global reach of the CIA.
“Officials said support was growing both within the military and the administration for shifting more operational control to the CIA — a move that would allow the U.S. to strike suspected terrorist targets unilaterally with greater stealth and speed,” reports the Wall Street Journal today. “Allowing the U.S. military’s Special Operations Command units to operate under the CIA would give the U.S. greater leeway to strike at militants even without the explicit blessing of the Yemeni government,” or the American people who, as usual, remain woefully uninformed.
Corporate media does its part to justify expanding war on terror into Yemen.
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) conducts several covert and clandestine missions, such as unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, psychological operations, direct action, counter-terrorism and war on drugs operations.
Exploiting the obviously contrived Yemen toner bomb plot (see Paul Watson’s article today) as an excuse to shift more operational control to an unaccountable CIA would reduce conflict between the CIA’s National Clandestine Service and the more clandestine parts of USSOCOM. It would also consolidate operations.
Moreover, a commissioned Pentagon study revealed that such a move would allow the CIA to maintain its covert capability and be the “sole government agency conducting covert action.” The DoD found that under U.S. law and the Constitution it does not have the legal authority to conduct covert action, nor the “operational agility” to carry out these types of missions.
Since the creation of the National Security State in the late 1940s, the CIA has used covert operations to consistently overthrow governments and install favored actors in power. “Covert action should not be confused with missionary work,” said Henry Kissinger in 1975 after the U.S. government betrayed the Kurds of Iraq.
In the 1980s, former CIA agent John Stockwell estimated that the agency has run thousands of covert operations since its inception, “all designed to disrupt, destabilize, or modify the activities of other countries.”
We are told the Obama administration is behind the effort to put the CIA’s “elite U.S. hunter-killer teams that operate secretly” inside Yemen, but the effort transcends any perceived rule by the teleprompter reader in chief.
As author John Prados notes, the CIA does not answer to the president or Congress. “Covert action has never been under complete presidential control, even as presidents have total authority to order it,” he writes. Under the 1947 National Security Act, the CIA remains beyond Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution that expressly reserves to Congress, not the president, the right to give letters of marque, the eighteenth-century equivalent of grants of combatant status.
Since September 11, 2001, U.S. foreign policy has shifted further into covert and illegal action in violation of the Constitution. Under Obama, the CIA has ramped up the covert war against CIA-ISI created elements inside Pakistan, an effort begun in earnest during the Bush regime.
In late October, Agence France-Presse reported that the CIA had authorized “officers and special operations military trainers to enter the country to intensify pressure” on “militants” created and supported through a collaboration between U.S. and Pakistani intelligence, although this is rarely if ever noted by the corporate media.
“The number of CIA personnel in Pakistan has grown substantially in recent years, [the Wall Street Journal] said. But the exact number is highly classified…. A senior Pakistani official said relations with the CIA remain strong but Islamabad continues to oppose a large increase in the number of American personnel on the ground.”
Since the staged underwear non-bombing last Christmas, the U.S. has steadily increased its military presence in Yemen and the Arabian peninsula under the guise of fighting against al-Qaeda and specifically the operative Anwar al-Awlaki, the U.S. born cleric designated by the government and the corporate media as the senior leader of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
“The U.S. military accelerated strikes against Yemen-based Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula following December’s failed attempt by the group to blow up a Detroit-bound American airliner. Since last December, the U.S. military has carried out a series of missile strikes on alleged al Qaeda operatives in Yemen. All of the strikes were approved by Washington’s ambassador to Sana’a,” the Journal reports.
The newly formed Yemeni branch of the intelligence contrivance known as al-Qaeda will continue its campaign of absurd non-bombings and will release propaganda videos featuring a raft of scary turban-donning “militants” on cue as the United States ramps up its military involvement in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa.
In the days ahead, as the mid-term election plays out with predictable results (as a highly controlled and orchestrated event), the manufactured terror threat that is not a terror threat will continue to dominate headlines. It is wholly irrelevant if the Republicans or Democrats control the House and Senate.
Regardless of who wins at the game of congressional musical chairs, the effort to exploit the manufactured war on terror will continue unabated and expand its reach into new fertile territory as the globalists attempt to extend their reach and seek to accomplish order through murderous chaos.

Al Qaeda Leader (Awlaki) Invited to Pentagon for Lunch 'AFTER' 9/11 Attacks
Al-Qaeda Mastermind Invited To Pentagon After 9/11
American-born cleric who had key role in Fort Hood, Christmas Day, and Times Square attacks met with US officials months after inspiring alleged 9/11 hijackers

Al-Qaeda terror mastermind Anwar Al-Awlaki, the man who helped plot the aborted Christmas Day bombing, the Fort Hood shooting, the Times Square bombing attempt, and who also preached to the alleged September 11 hijackers, dined at the Pentagon just months after 9/11 documents obtained by Fox News show.
American-born cleric Awlaki’s role as a key figure in almost every recent terror plot targeting the United States and Canada, coupled with his visit to the Pentagon, only confirms our long stated position that Awlaki is a chief terrorist patsy-handler for the CIA – he is the federal government’s premier false flag agent.
“Documents exclusively obtained by Fox News, including an FBI interview conducted after the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009, state that Awlaki was taken to the Pentagon as part of the military’s outreach to the Muslim community in the immediate aftermath of the attacks,” states the report.
Click here to read a portion of the documents.
Awlaki was vetted before he was invited to attend a luncheon at the Pentagon in the secretary of the Army’s Office of Government Counsel. His appearance at the meeting was deliberately engineered despite Awlaki’s ties to three of the alleged 9/11 hijackers – Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Hani Hanjour – who were identified as the suicide pilots that slammed Flight 77 into the Pentagon.
Following the Fort Hood shooting it was also revealed that shooter Major Nidal Malik Hasan had been in contact with Awlaki before the rampage. Awlaki preached to both Hasan and the 9/11 hijackers at the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia in 2001.
Awlaki also met with Christmas Day underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and acted as “the middle-man between the young Nigerian and the bombmaker.” As we have thoroughly documented, the Delta Flight 253 incident was staged from start to finish. The US State Department allowed Abdulmutallab to board the plane, aided by a well-dressed Indian man, despite the fact that he was on a terror watch list and had no passport.
The Christmas Day incident was a boon for companies linked with the military-industrial complex, as it greased the skids for the global introduction of naked body scanners in airports.
Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad was also reported to have been directed by Awlaki before his failed attack on May 1st.
“The Pentagon has offered no explanation of how a man, now on the CIA kills or capture list, ended up at a special lunch for Muslim outreach,” states the Fox News report.
The explanation is quite simple – Awlaki is the CIA’s chief patsy handler for planning and staging false flag terror attacks through the dupes that he radicalizes.
Tarpley points to Awlaki’s role in the Toronto and Fort Dix, New Jersey, terror plots, which were both contrived by the feds, as proof of Awlaki’s usefulness to the authorities in radicalizing terrorist patsies.
Lawyers in a case relating to the much vaunted 2007 terror plot to attack Fort Dix and kill “as many soldiers as possible” concluded that FBI informants were the key figures behind the operation and that the accused, six foreign-born Muslims, were merely bungling patsies.
Similarly, the “Toronto 18″ terrorists turned out to be “a bunch of incompetent guys who were primarily misled by a delusional megalomaniac”. The explosive fertilizer material the terrorist cell apparently planned to use was in fact purchased by an informant working for the RCMP who had radicalized the group.
Given the fact that Awlaki is a double operative, claiming to be an Al-Qaeda leader yet in fact working for U.S. intelligence, it’s hardly surprising that he made an appearance at the Pentagon.
Awlaki has also appeared in video tapes purporting to be Al-Qaeda propaganda material released by the IntelCenter, which as we have documented is nothing more than a Pentagon front group that has been caught red-handed releasing fake Al-Qaeda videos to bolster support for the geopolitical agenda of the US government.
Confirmation that Awlaki met with Pentagon officials after having inspired the very 9/11 hijackers that are blamed for flying a commercial airliner into the Pentagon provides yet more startling evidence that the highest levels of Al-Qaeda are completely penetrated and run by the US military industrial complex, which via patsy handlers like Awlaki is staging false flag attacks to boost their own domestic and geopolitical agenda.

[FoxNews.com]
Al Qaeda's first English-language propaganda magazine, designed to encourage would-be terrorists into acts of violence, suffered an inauspicious launch -- with only the first three of the 67 pages legible due to an apparent computer glitch on Thursday.
The online publication, apparently aimed at British and American readers, includes features such as "Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom."
Until now, Al Qaeda has relied on Arabic websites to carry its message, but Bruce Riedel, a Brookings Institution scholar and former CIA officer, said the new magazine was intended to build on recent success in the radicalization of Western citizens.
“[It] is clearly intended for the aspiring jihadist in the U.S. or U.K. who may be the next Fort Hood murderer or Times Square bomber,” he said. “The trend we’ve seen in the last year and a half is less global terrorism and much more homegrown domestic terrorism within Muslim communities.”
Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical U.S.-born cleric living in Yemen, is thought to be behind the publication called Inspire. U.S. authorities say his online sermons, given in English, have already inspired several terrorist plots in America.
The 39-year-old propagandist is said to have helped inspire three of the 9/11 hijackers; the perpetrator of the Fort Hood massacre last year; the Christmas Day underwear bomber and the failed Times Square bomber.
The first edition of the magazine, published by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, includes an article by Awlaki entitled ‘May our souls be sacrificed for you’, as well as “a detailed yet short, easy-to-read manual on how to make a bomb using ingredients found in a kitchen."
It also contains part one of a treatise on ‘What to expect in Jihad’ and translated messages from Usama Bin Laden on “how to save the earth,” and his second in command Ayman Al-Zawahari.

Faisal Shahzad Said To Have Linked Up With Taliban Through Internet, But Already High-Placed Contacts
Accused Times Square Bomber Faisal Shahzad linked up with the Pakistani Taliban through the internet, ABC News has been told by law enforcement and intelligence sources close to the investigation. Once the Taliban identified him as more valuable in the U.S. than in Pakistan, they trained him to return to execute his bomb attack.
But according to these sources, Faisal also had a web of jihadist contacts that included big names tied to terror attacks in the U.S. and abroad, including the figure who has emerged as a central figure in many recent domestic terror attempts - radical American-born Muslim cleric Anwar Awlaki.
Besides Awlaki, sources say Shahzad was also linked to a key figure in the Pakistani Taliban, its Emir Beitullah Mehsud, who was killed in a drone missile strike in 2009. The Mehsuds had been family friends of Shahzad, who is the son of a former high-ranking Pakistani military officer...
[Webmaster - Please see my posting from two days ago, Tuesday, May 4th... http://www.projectwakeupcall.com/2010/05/apparent-links-found-between-times.html
Like I predicted, the media finally made the connection between Shahzad and Awlaki. Now we know this was a staged "false flag" attack.]
Tuesday, May 4, 2010
The accused Times Square bomber appears to have links to the same town in Colorado where convicted terrorist Najibullah Zazi lived prior to coming to New York City and attempting a foiled subway attack, Fox News has learned.
Records obtained by Fox News show Huma Asif Mian, Faisal Shahzad's wife, has relatives listed at various addresses in Colorado. The addresses include apartment leases and a property deed in Aurora, Colo., and an apartment lease in Golden, Colo., that were held on-and-off from 2003 to March of this year.
A person who answered the phone at the Golden address listed in the records refused to answer questions on Tuesday and instead asked a series of questions about how Fox News obtained the address, phone number and other information related to the case...
[Webmaster - It will be interesting to see how long it is before the Feds link Shazad with Anwar al-Awlaki... According to WikiPedia:
"Al-Awlaki has reportedly met privately with at least two of the 9/11 hijackers.[17][18] Due to these contacts, investigators suspect al-Awlaki may have known about the 9/11 attacks in advance.[17] U.S. intelligence has intercepted emails between al-Awlaki and accused Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan[19][20] and after the Fort Hood shooting, al-Awlaki praised Hasan's actions.[21][22] According to unnamed U.S. officials, "Christmas-Day" bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab implicated al-Awlaki in some elements of planning or preparing for his failed attack.[23] The Wall Street Journal reported that "There is no indication Mr. Awlaki played a direct role in any of the attacks, and he has never been indicted in the U.S."[24]"
- 9/11 shows considerible evidence of being a "false flag" operation...
- The Fort Hood shooting is very suspicious...
- The Underwear bomber was helped onto the place by a U.S. intelligence asset...
Once they show a connection between Shahzad and al-Awlaki, then you'll know it's a "false flag".]
