NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is worried that high U.S. unemployment could lead to the same kind of riots here that have swept through Europe and North Africa.
"You have a lot of kids graduating college, [who] can't find jobs," said Bloomberg, during his weekly radio show on Friday. "That's what happened in Cairo. That's what happened in Madrid. You don't want those kinds of riots here."...[Full Article]

"Yes...it is legal to by a 33-round magazine for a Glock. We still have the second amendment in the USA (which you just really HATE, don't you Bloomberg? :) So what would your gun-grabbing socialist values dictate as the maximum magazine capacity that us peasants...serfs...would be "permitted" to have? 1...2...3...? New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg told a group of chief executives that he’s in favor of a carbon tax — a view not shared by many political leaders of either party in Washington.
Mr. Bloomberg, speaking to the Wall Street Journal CEO Council, said the U.S. needs to reduce its dependence on foreign oil if “you want to stop sending your money to … terrorists.”
The answer, he said: “We need a carbon tax.”...

London has been a terrorist target for a long time -- from the "The Troubles" involving the IRA, to the 7/7 transit-system bombings in 2005.
Because of this notorious past, law enforcement officials in the British capital have taken many steps to ensure the safety of its citizens. There is now a "Ring of Steel" around the center of London, a series of safety measures designed to deter – and prevent – terrorism.
They've caught the eye of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who visited London today to see what he could learn from this "Ring of Steel" system.
The center of London is watched by one million security cameras, covering virtually every square block...
